Mr. Phong has over 16 years of experience in a wide span of industries, includes telecommunications, FMCG, construction materials, as well as investment banking. Mr. Phong also possess a strong experience in operation management where he carried out restructuring organizations, development of strategy, deployment of work processes as well as implementation of corporate governance.
Before joining HappyLand DC, Mr. Phong has had more than four years of experience in management consulting and investment banking industry where he built the working foundation and advised many foreign and local investors in multi-million dollar investment projects. Mr. Phong also served as Business Development Manager, Procurement Manager and Executive Committee Member at Holcim Vietnam from 2002 to 2005, and as TSW Manager at Procter & Gamble since 1996 to 2002 at which he gained broad international management experiences.
Mr. Phong hold the MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands since 2006.
PHAM TRUNG HIEU, Architect, Executive Director
With more than 10 years of experience in his profession, Mr. Hieu has designed and built numerous luxurious villas, big hotels and upmarket resorts. Projects undertaken by Mr. Hieu are a reflection of the environment-friendly and also satisfy the demand for superior amenities in a contemporary lifestyle. These projects spread from the magnificent Saigon to the dreamlike city of Hue, from Nha Trang with virgin white sand beaches to Vung Tau with endless murmur of sea waves, from the welloff Binh Duong industrial parks to beautiful Mui Ne resorts and the ancient capital of Hanoi with the serene Sword Lake. Enjoying the works designed and constructed by Mr. Hieu, people can always sense a warm feeling that the architect wants to create through elaborate artistic lines reflecting a lifestyle that is both carefree and conventional.
Before co-founding HappyLand DC, Mr. Hieu was a senior architect at well-known companies providing architectural services such as TTT and Saigon Xanh. He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a member of the Vietnamese Association of Architects.
NGO VIET NONG, Engineer, Director of Construction
He participated in most major office building construction projects in Ho Chi Minh City. At TTT, one of the major Construction and Architectural services companies in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nong was placed in charge of some of the most demanding and high pressure construction projects with tight budgets and time lines. After having worked at TTT for 15 years, Mr. Nong started a new career and accepted new challenges by becoming a Partner and Construction Director at HappyLand DC.
Mr. Nong is highly respected by peers, customers and competitors alike because of his professionalism, hard work and integrity. Observing construction sites directly under his supervision, people often compare them with sites in Europe or the U.S., because of their strict adherance to safety standards, and orderliness.
LY KHAI HUNG, M. Architect ETH, Project Director
After graduating with a Master degree in architecture from ETH Zurich, Switzerland’s most famous Institute of Technology. Mr. Hung had the oportunity to demonstrate his professional skills by winning tenders for major construction projects in Germany and in Switzerland. Mr. Hung’s design style tends to favor the optimal utilization of materials to create high-tech products. Typical works that he took an active part in designing and construction include Heerenschürli, a Sports Complex in Zurich, a comprehensive Zoning Plan for Winterthur as a residential area. He also cooperated with other Architect Offices to design and to construct the New Apostolic Church, Gränichen in Switzerland.
Mr. Hung was born in Switzerland but lived and worked in the U.S., China, Germany and Vietnam for many years. This gives him a global cultural perspective.
TRAN THI TO OANH, Architect Director
Being a passionate design professional, she has shown great devotion to her work in the field of architecture and interior design for over 9 years. After graduating from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, she has constantly developed her professional skills in both architecture and interior design. During her career she has gained valuable experience in all aspects of project development.
With great affection to glass and its potentials and to all new technologies, she manages to work out projects at a high level. The results are highly comfortable spaces with long sustainability. Her professional perception is summoned in a quote by Rem Koolhaas: “The existence of any thing has enough capability to prove its reasonableness”.
NGUYEN DINH TU, Vice Director of Construction
A constructive enthusiast with a strong personality, he is a true asset to our team. After his studies in construction engineering he soon found the interior field as his destiny. His professional perception of work results in high-quality projects and customer’s satisfaction. This emphasizes the company’s main value: happiness.
Being part in most of Happyland DC’s projects, you can find him during day and - if necessary –night time on the construction site to ensure the quality and schedule. Being a committed workmate he is well appreciated by superiors, colleagues and customers.
DANG PHAM XUAN NGU, Creative Director
With both a young and racy appearance and a good sense of humor, he is well accepted by his workmates. Starting his career as a graphic designer, he soon found his passion for design and interior decoration. He is known for innovative products which were realized in various projects such as the Viet Capital Office, Vasta restaurant and ShowroomRichLand Hill & Emerald. In addition he has established and built up Happyland DC’s website and is responsible for its administration.
With his curiosity for new products and shapes he will surely surprise you with new and fresh ideas in the near future.
DINH THIEN, Architect
Mr. Thien during his 20 year practice as architect in Switzerland had taken part in major and well-known construction projects such as the University of Unitobler in Berne, the capital of Switzerland, the Municipal Building of Canton Berne Reiterstrasse and other important works including medical facilities, nursing homes for the elderly, commercial centers, upmarket hotels and restaurants. Returning to Vietnam, he discovered the great potential of the construction industry and wanted to bring his immense knowledge and experience he had gathered in Europe to contribute to the development of this industry. He joined HappyLand DC from the start and is committed to sharing his experience and his technical expertise. He has assumed responsibility for the supply of the latest construction materials from Europe so that HappyLand DC can have its unique style in the products the Company offers to its customers.
Mr. Thien graduated from the University of Applied Sciences, School of Architecture, Berne and is at present owner of an Architecture Office in Olten, a City in Northwestern Switzerland.
DIEU HOAI DUNG, M. Architect
With more than 12 years of experience in the field of architecture and urban design, Mr. Dung has planned numerous projects such as office buildings, high-rise apartments, commercial centers and urban developments. Some of the well known ones are the Dong Tam Long An office, the Sao Viet office and the Chi Linh Villa urban development.
Mr. Dung received his Master of Architecture from the HCMC Architecture University where he received numerous honors and awards. With his devotion to his profession, he is constantly in search of outstanding and sustainable design using the latest technology in construction.
TRAN THI THU HIEN, Designer
After graduating from Ton Duc Thang University with a major in interior design she has joined Happyland DC. She successfully combines the clear shapes and forms from Western design with the soft and colorful features of the East. Being young and enthusiastic about her profession she has created a very exquisite and individual style of her own. Projects she has managed show a precise and elaborate handwriting.
